Artist Statement
Painting allows me to step outside the boundaries of everyday life and enter a space beyond time and place.
My work is inspired by dreams, fleeting impressions, and the quiet emotions that often cannot be expressed through words. Influenced by the imagery of Dunhuang, the elegance of Tang Dynasty culture, Buddhist traditions, and Eastern aesthetics, I seek to transform inner experiences into visual forms.
Through the use of line, ink, and color, I explore themes of memory, spirituality, and the deeper connections that shape human existence. Rather than depicting the visible world, I am interested in revealing the unseen — the emotions, thoughts, and spiritual landscapes that exist beneath the surface.
For me, art is more than a creative practice. It is a lifelong journey of self-discovery, inner cultivation, and the search for a deeper understanding of life.
